Thanks for visiting my portfolio! I’m Allison and I’m a writer based in Brooklyn, New York. A storyteller with experience across digital media, print, and social media platforms, I specialize in creating editorial and branded style, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle content.

I’m currently a contributing editor at Editorialist, InStyle, and At Present, and I’m a freelance copywriter for REX Collective and Beautyblender LLC. Recently, as Editorialist’s Senior Branded Content Editor, I led the company through a period of rapid growth, growing and maintaining revenue-boosting partnerships with clients such as Cartier, Chloé, Net-a-Porter, Mytheresa, Cotton, Burberry, and Valentino. As Fashion & Beauty Content Editor at The Foundry (voted Best Content Studio by the Digiday Media Awards in 2020), I created award-winning campaigns for P&G, Ulta Beauty, Olay, and Essie.

My work has been featured on the websites and pages of Editorialist, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, People, Shape, Real Simple, Entertainment Weekly, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, Health, and Suited Magazine. I graduated from the MA Fashion Studies program at Parsons School For Design in 2015 and earned degrees in Art History and Violin Performance from DePauw University in 2012 (I’m a big believer in cross-category education and unconventional career paths, as evidenced by my own). Inspired by my wide range of interests, my stories celebrate the connections between fashion, beauty, music, and visual art.
